Our Story
Strategic Sanitation Services was founded in 2007 by Rick Hilgert, who recognized that overflowing dumpsters, resident complaints, and rising trash costs weren't just trash problems—they were systems problems. His solution was a proactive trash management system that helped communities stay cleaner, reduce costs, and eliminate daily headaches.
In 2009, Steve Reyes joined Rick as a partner to help grow the company. Together, they expanded Strategic from serving just a few communities into Southern California's most trusted waste management partners.
Today, Kenneth Reyes leads Strategic into its next chapter, building on the strong foundation established by Rick and Steve while continuing to innovate and deliver the exceptional service our customers have come to expect.
